    Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Sales to join the team.

    Location: Corby, Northampton (NN17 1UJ)

    Salary: £70K Depending on Experience

    Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

    About The Company:

    Our client is a £50M multi-disciplinary global organisation, with businesses spanning multiple sectors including Telecommunication, Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing and IT Management. They have just completed the acquisition of a startup IT Managed Services organisation, who already has a strong client base across sectors including Financial Services, Manufacturing, Retail and Non-for-Profit.

    They have exciting and ambitious growth plans for this business and are looking to grow to a £5M turnover over the next 3-5 years. As such, they are looking to bring on board a Head of Sales who can work closely with the Group's Board of Directors, to set strategy and drive success.

    Head of Sales - The Role:

    This is a key role for the organisation and will be responsible for the growth of their new IT Managed Services business. It will develop and implement the sales strategy for growth, focusing on driving new business and building strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, whilst ensuring a high standard of quality service delivery to their customers. The role will suit someone who can think creatively, is ambitious and can build a solid team around them.

    Head of Sales - Key Responsibilities:

    Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to drive growth

    Recruit and manage a small sales team, and implement KPIs to track performance and success

    Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and to customer satisfaction, in order drive customer retention

    Manage relationships with key clients, suppliers and 3rd party organisations

    Report to the Board of Directors on key metrics and overall sales performance

    Head of Sales - You:

    Min. 10 years' experience working within the IT Managed Services, Audio-Visual or IT Management space

    Track record of managing projects through to completion

    Strong commercial acumen including ability to drive sales

    Able to regularly show initiative in driving new ideas and transformation programmes drive improved performance
