Job descriptionJob responsibilities
About the Role:
Are you a Nurse looking for a change?
Are you a Paramedic looking for the next step?
Do you want to work in forensic healthcare that makes a remarkable, positive and life-long difference to people's lives?
If the answer to the above is a yes, then this is the right role for you
Here at Mountain Healthcare, we are looking for passionate, determined, and resilient individuals to join our amazing teams as Forensic Custody Healthcare Professionals.
Custody is both a dynamic and lively environment, with no two days the same. The police can detain individuals for up to 24 hours and within this time, we provide a high level of care to detainees and their needs, which can vary from drug/alcohol dependency to acute medical episodes.
Our dedicated healthcare professionals are also fully trained to collect forensic samples which can assist the police with their investigations.
Experience within forensics is NOT NECESSARY.
As a Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional, you will work closely with the police and receive training and support to become an accredited Forensic Practitioner.
Hours of Work If you're struggling to maintain a good work-life balance and are looking for clearer boundaries, then this role could be for you.
This is a Bank position at our Workington Custody Suite.
Previous experience in any of the following would be ideal to assist you in the role: A&E, walk-in centre, substance misuse, community nursing, police custody, prison, as a Paramedic Practitioner, Registered Nurse or other relevant discipline.
