This is a great time to consider joining or progressing as aClinical Support Worker as we approach the opening of two brand new facilitieswithin the division of surgery - a Community Diagnostic Centre and a SurgicalHub.
We are now recruiting Clinical Support Workers (CSWs) tojoin our teams in these facilities and be part of a specialist group of staff workingtogether to enhance patient experience.

Main duties of the job
At the new Community Diagnostic Centre in Wakefield andwithin the wider ophthalmic outpatient department, we are looking for CSWs toprovide support to visually impaired patients of all ages who require acute orlong-term treatment. This will involve:
The new Surgical Hub at Dewsbury District Hospital will providetwo theatres, four major treatment rooms and ten outpatient clinic rooms. CSWswill support patients undergoing low complexity day procedures includingplastics, gynaecology, pain management, vascular and general surgery. This willinvolve:
