    Description

    Search 5.0 is proud to be partnering with a world-class commerce company that avails of a 4-day working week.

    As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our cloud-based infrastructure. You will be part of a highly skilled, global team, maintaining and automating a vast cloud-based environment supporting my client's platform.

    This is a remote-first role, with our headquarters located in Belfast should you wish to utilise the office facilities.

    SENIOR CLOUD PLATFORM ENGINEER

    You will join a growing team that provides autonomy, support, and also direction. You will thrive in this bar-raising environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Help to design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud-based services
    • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment
    • Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration, monitoring, and scaling.
    • Support cloud-native managed services, including an evolution of Kubernetes.
    • Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment, including the build platform (Java, Gradle)

    Experience

    • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) with a focus on engineering best practices.
    • Extensive expertise in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (AWS and GCP)
    • Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools
    • Excellent experience in Infrastructure-As-Code (IaC) best practices (Terraform).
    • Experience in software development in general, with skills in a high-level language (e.g. Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java)

    • £60,000 - £65,000
