Ellon on a permanent (up to 35 hours per week) and relief basis. For these vacancies we will need you to hold a full, clean manual UK driving licence as the people we support love getting out and about in their cars.


The Role
You'll become part of a friendly, fun team that supports three gentlemen to live in their own home. The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same.

Your main aim will be supporting the gentlemen's day to day needs, including shopping, finances, cooking, housework, personal care and medication.


As a Support Practitioner, we're looking for you to take a keen interest and participate in the gentlemen's hobbies which include; swimming, going for walks, drives in the car, cooking & baking, crafting, puzzles and games.


About You
You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferable skills.
We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too

All we'll need you to bring is: -

  • A full driving licence
  • A caring and compassionate attitude
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Confidence in the use of computers
  • The ability to cook (baking would be a bonus too)
  • Confidence to support in the water as swimming is a regular activity

Shift Patterns


As we're dedicated to providing the best support possible shift patterns will fall between the hours of hours with sleepover shifts, weekends and public holidays also forming part of your rota on a rotational basis.


Our sleepover shifts do not form part of your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional payment of £87 for each sleepover shift you work
