Balfour Beatty (CPS) have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Test Manager to join our growing team in South MimmsThe successful candidate will have experience of defining, maintaining, and running tests for a range of software applications (browser and app-based).
Experienced in the asset management or highways industry will be beneficial.They will have experience in different stages of testing and will know how to set these up and run them to help ensure high quality products are delivered to our stakeholders.
Testing stages will include ad hoc testing, unit testing, integration testing, UAT and potentially automated testing.This is a great opportunity for a QA professional to establish, shape and run a testing capability in a high-profile business, working on a wide range of established and new projects.
Set up a range of testing plans and capabilities, including unit testing, integration testing, UAT and potentially test automation.
Contribute to the requirements and design stages of projects, bringing testing knowledge and planning to the process.Collaborate closely with project team members and stakeholders, building effective relationships.
At least three years experience in software testing, including unit testing, integration testing, UAT and potentially automated testing
Ability to trace data flows through client-server systems and diagnose issues
MS Office (Word, Excel), MS Project, Test automation tool
Understanding of spatial data and linear referencing systems / models
Flexible, motivated and able to persevere in challenging situations.
CPS is a Joint Venture project with Balfour Beatty, AtkinsR alis, and Egis.
The M25 is the busiest section of motorway in Europe and requires careful and efficient planning of work in order to deliver over 100m of annual investment in the highway infrastructure each year, in addition to planned and reactive maintenance activity.
