    Mechanical Maintenance TechnicianMonday – Friday 8am – 4pmUp to 39kKendal

    Due to year on year growth and plant expansion, a highly successful and reputable consumer goods producer in Kendal is seeking a mechanical maintenance engineering professional to join their established maintenance team on days.

    As a mechanical maintenance technician, your role is to assist in maintaining a safe and efficient environment within the company workshops and production units; ensuring all machinery and equipment are running to enable the business to meet its customer requirements.

    Key Accountabilities:Carry out day-day maintenance tasks and site repairs to assist operations in achieving maximum productivity and performance.

    Working on various production lines to maintain basic conditions of the machinery and perform improvement activities, as well as repairing breakdowns.

    Carry out mechanical fault finding and maintenance daily.
    Project work – machine upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement work.
    Driving a safe culture and eliminate safety risks.

    The Person:Must have a mechanical engineering background and be fully qualifiedConsumer goods/ Industrial/ Manufacturing experience is essentialStrong Fault finding & diagnostic skills
