Description:

We are currently looking to recruit a warm supportive Personal Assistant to support our son who has complex needs.

Hours: 12 hours per week term time on a Saturday and Sunday. 24 hours per week during school holidays. Hours are flexible and can be discussed with the employer.

Wage:
£12.50 per hour

Duties to include:
Personal care, assistance with feeding and medication. Support with stimulating activities in the home and the community.

Essential criteria :
Applicants must be kind, patient, trustworthy, reliable and can deliver person centred support.

Desirable:
Some experience with children with disabilities would be preferred but not essential.

Training will be provided around the individual support needs i.e. peg feeding, epilepsy, moving and assisting.

All successful applicants will undergo and enhanced DBS check and references.
