Edinmore Contracts Ltd are the leading insurance reinstatement contractor in Scotland and have been providing an all-trades service to the insurance sector in East & West Central Scotland for over 17 years.
Using our own tradesmen and a selection of quality sub-contractors, we provide solutions for all aspects of insurance damage, such as escape of water, flood, storm & fire.
Due to the continued growth of our business, we are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team.The main duties of this role include:
- Providing daily support to your Line Manager;
- Creating invoices to be sent to insurance companies;
- Adding all supplier, hire and sub contractor invoices onto Sage;
- Working with a diary system and various Client systems;
- Adding petty cash receipts onto Sage
- Answering telephone calls from policyholders, insurance companies and suppliers;
- Filing and general administration duties;
- A flexible and positive attitude to the changing work schedule;
- Computer literacy, typing skills, analytical skills and experience of answering phone calls;
- Office experience with a basic knowledge of the construction and insurance industry.
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Be committed and selfmotivated, with very good organisational skills.
- Sage 50 experience preferable
