Description
We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Development Engineer to join an exciting consultancy.This company is a team of innovators, engineers and delivery experts who combine the skill sets to share F1 techniques and processes to businesses with wider industrial and commercial applications.
Hardware Testing and Validation:
Carry out the development and execution of comprehensive hardware test programs at the full product or system level.
Conduct hands-on testing of prototypes, including operating with instrumentation, data acquisition, and real-world scenario testing.
Field Testing and
Issue Resolution:
Work in the field with prototype vehicles, identifying and addressing hardware issues.
Collaborate closely with the Design and Development team to ensure seamless testing and resolution of hardware-related challenges.
Lead planning for parts, people, logistics and facilities to execute testing including risk assessments.
Ensure the successful delivery of planned test programs, meeting project timelines and objectives.
Collaborate with wider Design and Development team through providing feedback on design improvements based on field testing experiences.
Communicate regularly with project managers and other team members to provide updates on testing progress and challenges.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all testing activities, including test plans, procedures, and results.
Generate comprehensive reports on hardware performance and contribute to post-test analysis.
Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and resources at the same time.
~ Understanding of the vehicle testing process.
~ Knowledge of automotive testing instrumentation and tools.
~ Strong data analysis and reporting experience.
