OBM are currently recruiting for a Walk to Work Logistics Co-Ordinator on behalf of our client based in Great Yarmouth.
This is a short-term offshore contract for an upcoming W2W campaign.Job Role:
Offshore Walk to Work Coordinator (W2W Co-ord) shall be experienced in offshore logistics coordination, particularly in walk to work vessel operations.
They must be thoroughly familiar with the following:
- The worksite HIRA and site safety instructions
- Project controls and principles of safe operations
- Management of change
- Control of work, including permit to work and isolation requirements
- Risk assessment processes
- Relevant legislation and marine operations guidelines
- Vantage personnel tracking and logistics systems
- Helicopter and logístical operations
- The principles and safe utilisation of walk to work systems
- Manifest and cargo transfer administration
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary function is to coordinate personnel and logistics at the site from the point of view of safety, environmental performance, and efficiency.
During the offshore work phase, the W2W Co-ord shall:
- Be the focal point between the client for operational liaison and provision of information for personnel logistics and cargo operations.
- Assist the OIM with the day to day management tasks
- Arrange, where necessary, logistics support for helicopter/supply vessel/personnel movements.
- Attend all necessary meetings, offshore HIRAs and daily project meetings.
- Monitor the work being carried out to ensure that it is done safely and follows approved procedures.
- Manage Platform POB and personnel movements including interface between platform vantage and vessel tracking systems.
- Assist the Marine Team with the management of the vessel Marine Permits and Vessel Entry Checklists
- Liaison with the vessel Bridge Team and the client's Marine Team
Minimum Competencies:
Leadership and good people skills are essential. Understanding of the methodology of the task to be undertaken is mandatory.
- Familiar with safety and environment management systems
- Selfmotivated leader
- Compute (MS Office, Vantage and Manifest) literate
- Good communicator, both written and oral
- Tactful and persuasive team player
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years' role experience in the coordination of offshore logistics and personnel movement
- MIST Training and Certification
- Holds Vantage Administrator Competency
