- Work directly with Prime Brokerage clients and external brokers to settle client trades and resolve any trade-related issues.
- You will have a book of clients that you will be responsible for. Your objective will be to develop those client relationships and provide first class service across the trade life cycle.
- Tap into investigative skills to find answers to client queries and solutions for issues that arise
- Partner with technology on changethebank initiatives to enhance the client experience or mitigate risk.
- Investigate exceptions in our internal books and records to identify resolution, and escalate issues as they arise.
- Analyze and improve processes and procedures with an eye for reducing risk and eliminating repetitive effort.
- Help influence client behavior to achieve superior operational and client service outcomes
- Preferred candidate will have minimum 47 years of operations experience, preferably in derivatives. Ideal candidate should have an understanding of equity derivatives. Knowledge of current industry focuses and structured transactions a plus.
- Experience with managing a team and leading projects
- Excellent team player, able to work well inside a group and broadly across an organization
- Proven ability to organize and prioritize own workload and drive results
- Experience managing risk and a control framework
- Ability to multitask and work in high pressure environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated confidence in communicating in a variety of forums and with varied audiences, including: formal presentations, training sessions, larger meeting venues, and with external/internal clients.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment; able to work independently and as a selfstarter, as appropriate.
- Attention to detail and a sense of urgency in escalating and resolving outstanding issues
- Demonstrated commitment to quality controls and procedures
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically pivot tables, look up functions, and general data analysis
- Understanding of the equity derivatives industry
- Experience with equity derivatives industry vendors
- VBA coding and Excel/Outlook macro experience a plus but not required

The individual will work closely with counterparties and various internal stakeholders and should have the ability to communicate to all levels within Sales & Trading, Engineering and other Operations groups.
