Hours: 8:30-16:00 full time (term time)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualised support to students with diverse learning needs, fostering their academic and personal growth.
Assist in the implementation of tailored educational plans and strategies, ensuring each students unique requirements are met.
Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and other support staff to create inclusive learning environments that promote student engagement and success.
Support students in developing essential literacy, numeracy and social skills through targeted interventions and activities.
Adapt learning materials and resources to accommodate students' varying abilities and learning styles.
Encourage positive behaviour and reinforce classroom expectations, promoting a safe and respectful learning environment.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children, particularly in educational setting, is desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues and families.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and the school community.
Relevant qualifications or training in education, child care, or related fields are advantageous but not essential.
