    Technical Lead - Python - Manchester (1 day a week)

    My client is a leading technical firm specialising in data management and data security. With a robust team of over 230 professionals, they are dedicated to providing cutting-edge solutions to ensure the highest standards of data integrity and security for their clients.

    Due to growth within the team, they're now seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Lead to join them. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Python, Django, and AWS (CI/CD), along with proficiency in additional technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and a familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Vanilla JS. This role requires a balance of hands-on technical skills and leadership capabilities to drive projects to successful completion.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and mentor a team of 4 developers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise
    • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines
    • Develop high-quality, scalable, and secure applications using Python and Django
    • Manage and optimise AWS infrastructure, focusing on CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals

    Technical Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Developer with a strong background in Python and Django
    • Python and Django: Essential for developing robust, scalable web applications.
    • Hands-on experience with AWS services and CI/CD pipelines to help manage cloud infrastructure and improve the development cycle efficiency.
    • Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes
    • Strong skills in PostgreSQL to help design and optimise databases to ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability.
    • Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Vanilla JS
