Compliance Associate**Abacus Careers are pleased to be recruiting for Compliance Associates of all levels on behalf of a leading local consultancy firm in their Belfast office. This role has come around due to an injection of investment that will lead to them building out across new jurisdictions.


As a Compliance Associate, you will be responsible for delivering support to clients, and for providing them with guidance, advice, and valuable insight.

You will work as part of their fast-growing advisory team and alongside senior consultants and under the supervision of trailblazers and experts in this industry.

With their expertise across Payments, Fincrime, Investments and IT Risk, Advisory and Assurance they will enable you to have the opportunity to engage in a variety of projects across a diverse range of exciting and cutting-edge clients.

Key Duties

  • Assisting with the provision of highquality compliance work products to our clients
  • Working and delivering on multiple projects across authorisations, advisory and audit and due diligence.
  • Partnering with our client base to understand their business and be able to design and implement their regulatory strategy.
  • Undertaking compliance audits for clients and make appropriate recommendations which achieve regulatory compliance for the client.
  • Stay up to date with the everevolving regulatory requirements.
  • Any other duties as reasonably required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information.
  • 2yrs+ working within a compliance role in financial services.
  • Ability to work with, and communicate information clearly and effectively to, both clients and team members.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage numerous deadlines and projects simultaneously.
  • Quick to learn, curious with initiative, and constantly striving to develop technical expertise Collegiate outlook with the ability to work effectively as part of a cohesive team.
