This is an exciting opportunity to join the Places Finance Business Partnering Team consisting of 40 colleagues across the Bank and our strategic supply chain.

The team provides specialist finance and strategic decision support across a £1bn/annum cost base.

  • This role has a huge scope for colleague growth with responsibilities including:
  • Financial oversight of strategic suppliers performance-
  • Developing MI reporting outputs and improving existing finance processes-
  • Budgeting, forecasting and reporting across a wide range of Group Places activities-
  • Providing targeted and insightful commentary on business performance-
  • Communicating effectively with the business to help them drive maximum efficiency for colleague and shareholders.

  • What you'll need

  • Excellent financial control, reporting, analysis and problem solving skills
  • Experience of budgeting & forecasting
  • Strong Attention to detail to oversight accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
  • Flexibility to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • And any experience of these would be really useful
  • Managing supplier relationships
  • Qualified accountant preferable
