General Manager – "Leisure and Fitness"

Location London

Salary £50,000+ Bonus

The General Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that prioritizes safety, enhances guest experience, and achieves annual revenue and profitability goals. Role

Develop, implement, and execute annual operating plan to exceed budget, profit, and drive year over year growth
Experience managing and developing Trainers and coaches.
Provide financial & business analysis and forecasts as required based on market, demographic, or corporate trends
Make sound financial decisions that improve profit margins while controlling operational expenses.
Attract new sponsors and partners for the club.
Drive Corporate events.
Recruit and hire, manage, and develop a tunnel team which is inclusive of ongoing learning and growth through observational feedback, development tools, resources, and recognition
Ensure staff is accountable to policies and guidelines while positively promoting company values and mission.

Skills

5 years (plus) experience in management leading teams
Experience with employee recruitment and onboarding
Demonstrated team leadership and development ability
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as a POS platform
Demonstrated business and financial acumen.
Ability to critically evaluate business performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Previous experience building local marketing plan and programs to optimize local opportunities and build community relationships
