    Mechanical Maintenance Manager |Bromley (Healthcare PFI Contract) | up to £59,000 + Car allowance 4.5k | FM Service Provider

    One of UK's leading Service Providers is currently looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Manager to look after the Technical Operations based at Bromley (Healthcare Contract)

    To provide Technical and Engineering specialist expertise and guidance. Included within this responsibility is to ensure all Engineering and Fabric Planned and Reactive Maintenance in addition to Project Works are undertaken in a professional and safe manner.

    Responsibilities;

    • Ensure that works are undertaken in accordance with all HS&E legislation, mandatory safety, environmental and quality standards and specific client requirements
    • Where required, the building and asset are compliant with relevant SFG20 and statutory compliance requirements and specific contractual requirements
    • Fully embracing and managing defect process and protecting warranty requirements, ensuring all correspondence is documented and auditable from practical completion and beyond
    • Form part of the soft landing FM team, working closely with central team with direct involvement of the witness / commissioning of all assets.
    • Review and understanding of all O&Ms associated with the project and setting up a technical library and ensuring all amendment at kept up to date, applying pertinent elements to the operational plans.
    • Manage subcontractors, service providers & operatives to undertake work safely at all times Puts safety first and instils this in subcontractors and suppliers ensuring all operatives are fully briefed with the site induction, think again training and associated RBRA applicable
    • Recruitment and management of Engineering team
    • Roster, lead, manage and motivate engineering team
    • Review, produce & monitor Task Control Sheets & method statement for all work
    • Assist in negotiations with subcontractors, the client etc. to reach resolution on commercial and operational issues always aiming for a win –win
    • Develop Day to Day operational plans or site operation including weekend and overnight works
    • Ensures that key details pertaining to day-to-day works are clearly communicated across the project team.
    • Work closely with the wider project team and ensure we all aligned in our delivery, one team approach
    • Working closely with the commercial team Capable of putting together cost estimates for additional works
    • Ensure compliance with procurement standards at all times
    • Contribute to the monthly internal and client report specific to hard element of service delivery

    Qualifications/key experience

    • Technically Qualified (Mechanically) – essential
    • 5 + years Technical Management experience
    • IOSH / NEBOSH
    • Good communication Skillset
