Systems Implementation Partner (HR) Fixed Term Contract until 31/03/24

A bit about the role... Homes England is replacing some of its core systems as part of a wider organisational transformation programme.


Working within a professional project team, you will ensure efficient and effective resolution of project challenges and will help deliver successful outcomes for the HR team and the wider business.

This is a rare chance to shape the future HR solution fora nationwide organisation with real social purpose.

You will bring both knowledge of HR and experience of systems implementation.


As an experienced HR professional, you will be in your element discussing HR processes with internal experts and you will have the ability to bring people with you on a journey.

As someone with experience of systems implementation, you will be effectiveat articulating HR requirements to a suppler whilst adhering to project principles.

You will be someone who takes the initiative, who brings a strong focus on solutions and who is comfortable navigating ambiguity.


The project The project's objectives are to provide Homes England with a system that will:

  • provide a fit for purpose and well-integrated solution to bring together Finance and HR functionality in a modern, scalable platform with the necessary capabilities to support Homes England on its transformation journey and beyond
- enable "one version of the truth" by using a single cloud-based solution across a range of business processes and functions, removing the need for siloed local solutions
- provide self-service for all colleagues with efficient processes and workflows
- improve data quality, data sharing and data security
- enable better accountability for managers by guiding them through key roles and responsibilities and supporting them to navigate processes
- improve user experiences by eliminating repetitive processes and offline workarounds through integrated, streamlined and automated processes
- provide improved business intelligence and support the creation of end-to-end real-time management information reporting


Whilst the HR Team is located mainly in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, the last few years have shown us that people can work well together from any location and this role can be based out of any of our offices or even from home.

There will, though, be a need for occasionaltravel to Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
