Kitchen Porter


We are looking for a Full-time Kitchen Porter, your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

You will work closely with our kitchen team to maintain cleanliness and organization, ensuring all back-of-house activities are carried out efficiently.


This is a great opportunity for a skilled and passionate Kitchen Porter who wants to take the next step in their career, oversee the property cleanliness / maintenance and be rewarded in this progressive role where your personal development is a priority.


  • Assisting with the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces.
  • Ensuring the proper disposal of waste and adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Supporting the kitchen staff in basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables or washing ingredients.
  • Assisting with stock organization and rotation.
  • Collaborating with the team to maintain a clean and organized working environment.
  • Supporting other kitchen staff during busy periods or as assigned by the Head Chef (Owner).

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Basic understanding of food hygiene practices and health and safety regulations.
  • Strong ability to work well under pressure and in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute to a teamoriented environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Education and Experience:


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar role, with a proven track record of success.
