- Oversees all aspects of the team by facilitating and resolving issues through effective problem-solving and communication.

- Designs, installs, and configures necessary tools on environments.
- Enables software installation in environments.
- Automates pre and post testing checks and collaborates with development teams on metrics and alerting.
- Identifies bottlenecks in processes and suggests improvements.
- Proposes training to enhance quality in other departments.
- Monitors department processes continually to ensure efficiency.
- Reviews team processes regularly to evaluate effectiveness and efficiency.
- Suggests automation ideas as needed.
- Develops and communicates a process improvement plan based on agreed goals.
- Develops data-driven test automation scripts and performs performance and load testing.
- Designs and executes load and performance tests on web applications, services, and databases.
- Conducts daily load build verification tests and system-level tests.
- Tests software installation and performance verification.
- Addresses raised issues by liaising with developers and stakeholders.
- Reviews team processes for quality and efficiency regularly.
- Suggests automation tools when needed.
- Implements and communicates a process improvement plan based on agreed goals.
- Raises and mitigates risks.
- Maintains an issues log per project.
- Creates and maintains performance engineering strategy documentation.
- Updates training materials as required.
- Minimum 3 years in an operational management role with Infrastructure, Networking, and Security experience.
- Strong knowledge of building and maintaining test environments.
- Experience in load and performance testing preferred.
- Experience in testing across various platforms.
- Understanding of industry performance standards, bottlenecks, and web performance metrics.
- Database knowledge including SQL and PostgreSQL.
- Previous exposure to monitoring technologies like Grafana, Splunk, Nagios, ELK.
