    Description

    A unique opportunity for a Clinic Nurse in Worcester to join the UK's leading independent provider of Ophthalmic services and one of the largest providers of NHS cataract surgery in the UK with a salary up to £37,336 with a 10% bonus every year.

    You don't need Ophthalmic experience as full training is provided. If you're looking for a great work life balance then this job is for you The shift pattern is full-time 4 days per week, working 7:30am - 5:30pm, meaning no evenings and only 1 in 4 saturdays.

    Responsibilities for Clinic Nurse:

    • Administer drugs in accordance with the NMC guidelines for the safe and secure handling of medicines.
    • Undertake all care for patients whilst in the hospital including diagnostic tests and post-operative care.
    • Assist with stock control, ensuring realistic par levels are maintained and all items are readily available.
    • To always ensure patient confidentiality in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
    • Provide support and mentorship to colleagues and new staff.
    • Admission and discharge of patients on a theatre day.

    Criteria for Clinic Nurse:

    • A current NMC registration
    • 12 months post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse / Staff Nurse
    • Passionate about developing a career in Ophthalmology
