Job description

The role

You will:

  • Influence change for better outcomes for disabled people, by co developing partnership strategies with game changing utility organisations.
  • Generate income and manage the budget for the utility partnerships, to support Scope in its work for and with disabled people.
  • Provide strategic direction and management of the delivery of initiatives with utilities to bring about positive change for disabled people.
  • Negotiate with senior internal and external stakeholders to create long term partnerships that provide mutual benefits for partners and disabled people.
  • Oversee the Scope Utilities Memberships relationships and act as a senior contact when engaging with prospects.
  • Ensure internal collaboration with colleagues across Partnerships and all departments, to develop services, concepts and proposals.
  • Embed efficient and effective governance structures and reporting processes to continually assess performance against resources, outcomes and impact.

About you

In this role you will lead by example, live by Scope's values and inspire both internal and external stakeholders. You will provide a safe working space which nurtures and develops individuals, maximising their potential.

Do you have strong experience in stakeholder management?

You will be negotiating with, coaching, managing and inspiring with internal and external stakeholders to contribute towards Scope's goals.


In this role, you will be identifying opportunities and influencing for positive impact on disabled people's lives, widening the reach of Scope's message and brand, and generating income for Scope.


These activities will include building our Scope Utilities Membership to provide direct funding of services, in-kind support, marketing and brand campaigns.
