    Description
    Radis Community Care have an opportunity for a Positive Behaviour Support (PSB) Practitioner to join our team.

    As our PSB Practitioner you will be working with and supporting people whose behaviour is described as concerning or challenging.

    Support best practice around the use of physical interventions, and promote the reduction of restrictive practices.

    To take part in regular professional supervision and appraisal and maintain an active engagement with current developments in the field of Positive Behaviour Support and related disciplines.

    Contribute to the maintenance of the highest professional standards of practice, through active participation in internal and external CPD training and development programmes.

    NVQ3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
    Experience of working with adults and young people with a Learning Disability, Mental Health diagnosis and or Autism
    Ability to write high quality reports
    Ability to use monitoring and evaluation tools
    Values driven, ambitious to improve the lives of people we support
    Able to comply with organisational policy, information governance and record keeping
    Effective computer literacy skills.

    You will have a full driver's licence, access to a car, and be willing to travel to any of our services, or specified catchment area.

    You will be physically fit, as this can be a demanding job that includes using physical training and supporting people directly alongside staff teams.

    Willingness to work outside of regular office hours (evenings and weekends) on occasions

    We care for a range of service users including the elderly and for people with physical and/or learning disabilities.

    Tailored to meet our service user's individual needs, our care ranges from brief daily visits to 24-hour live-in care and can either be short or long-term.
