Description

Our client is a leading global producer of industrial minerals,
founded in 1884 in Switzerland, they have a global presence extending to more than 160 locations in over 50 countries with 9,000 employees.
They are now looking for an experienced Temporary Administrator to join the team in Melton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a global company with development opportunities.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Provide assistance and advice on HSE issues to make recommendations to facility management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine their root cause and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide training to employees on health, safety, and environmental issues.
  • Maintain records of all health, safety, and environmental activities.
  • Schedule daily and monthly HSE meetings/trainings and schedule as needed.
  • Promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills

Job Type:
Fixed term contract


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • North Ferriby, East Riding of Yorkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- admin within engineering: 3 years (preferred)
