    Digital Print Specialist Team Lead - Stockton-on-Tees, United Kingdom - Fujifilm Corporation

    Overview

    The Team Lead will plan and implement Digital Sheet-fed printing sales and activities, meet company annual targets for sales unit count. Perform a broad range of sales management functions with Inkjet Sales Managers (ISMs) to identify and evaluate specific opportunities, develop, and execute strategies and plans to penetrate and grow the Inkjet Sheet-fed market nationally. Oversees sales activities of a sales team in an assigned geographic territory. Liaison between management and the team, leading the team to make its quotas, addressing issues that come up, and motivating the sales team.

    The ideal candidate will live near a major metro airport within the assigned Southeast territory (TN, NC, SC, GA, etc.).

    Responsibilities

  • Implement company sales strategy, including sales method, tracking, and monitoring.
  • Develop and train DPS skill sets on a continuous basis, leading to World Class Sales Reps.
  • Evaluate on-the-job performance of the sales team
  • Provide up-to-date information to National Sales Manager regarding market trends, developments and other activity, customer, and competitor activity. Prepare reports as required.
  • Develop and implement product sample policies with National Sales Manager of Digital Printing and Marketing Product Manager.
  • Manage expenses for DPS team.
  • Identify business opportunities within assigned area consistent with business strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement plans and strategies for penetrating and growing profitable sales of digital ink jet and toner equipment within the assigned area.
  • Achievement of assigned yearly sales goals
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the key business requirements of their customers and prospects for both current and future business needs.
  • Maintains an effective business relationship with key customers and prospects, positioning Fujifilm as a valued business partner, and themselves as a valued business resource, providing solutions that benefit both companies.
  • Maintain Salesforce records, reporting activity in a timely manner and updating data as conditions require.
  • Provide direction, coordinate with, and assist Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Fujifilm Sales Managers (FSM's) in identifying new accounts, prospecting activities, making joint sales calls and presentations, arranging demonstrations, preparation of business proposals, customer ROI's/Total Cost of Ownership analysis and closing orders.
  • Participates in interviewing, hiring, developing, and evaluating employees.
  • Manage administration and relevant reporting, planning, and forecasting systems
  • Maintain corporate image and professionalism.
  • Manage departmental communications
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager
  • Required Skills/Education

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years sales experience in Graphics/Printing and Capital Expenditures Industry
  • Excellent sales presentation skills
  • Effective meeting planning/execution skills
  • Extensive knowledge of the graphic communication industry
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Ability to see and solve difficult problems with effective solutions
  • Possess necessary skills/attributes to include excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Outstanding team building skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to travel ~60-70%
  • Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Previous experience managing and leading a team
  • Proven leadership, mentoring and coaching skills
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions and demonstrate good use of independent judgment.
