Description

We are looking for a Credit Controller on a short fixed-term contract, or a rolling weekly contract, to join and support the Credit Control and Accounts Receivable team.

You will ideally be immediately available.

The key responsibilities of this role will be to provide general support to your Line Manager in order to assist the Finance Manager, Project Managers and Partners with managing their outstanding debt and help our business to improve our DSO days.

The role will include duties such as:_
Uploading invoices on Customer Portals.
Investigate disputes and where necessary, raise issues around outstanding invoices with Supervisor as early as possible.
Accurately Post and Allocate daily cash receipts on GMS
Escalate overdue invoices to Supervisor and Project Managers
Build relationships with internal and external clients
Help Support the Project Finance teams with sales invoice activity.
Other duties as delegated from time to time by the Supervisor.
Work within and adhere to the company Credit Policy and Processes

The Credit Controller must be able to develop good working relationships with stakeholders on all levels and must therefore be very professional, outgoing and approachable.

Key stakeholders are senior financial managers, partners, project managers and clients.- Strong professional communication skills, written and verbally- Interest in working within Credit Control and Accounts Receivable- Strong business acumen- Attention to detail- Pro-active self-starter able to work under own initiative- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines- Good excel skills- Good problem-solving skills- Good organisational skills- A team player with a flexible approach and willingness to learn and adapt to change

Prior experience in credit control is essential for this position.
