    Electrical Assembly TechniciannPeterborough


    The Peterborough Service Centre is home to a large-scale regeneration facility as well as the base for a fleet of over 100 mobile water treatment units, primarily fixed within trailers and containers.nWe are looking for an Electrical Assembly Technician with electrician skills who will be responsible for the electrical builds of water treatment equipment.nFull training on our products is planned into our Induction.nThis is an interesting and important role for our business that leads into a full careernThis position is based 100% at our site in Peterborough.


    What are the day to day duties?nFabrication, installation, and documentation of cables, trays, and rack assembliesnSingle-phase, three-phase, high-voltage, and low-voltage electrical circuitsnPreparation, soldering, and termination of wire cable harnessesnUsing blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and electronic schematicsnTroubleshooting electrical instrumentation and mechanical equipment and presenting technical solutions to address these issues.nFinding problems using programmable logic controllers (PLC) and communicating with the manufacturing and maintenance team to prevent impact on the equipment.nProgramming instrumentation to relay information to a central HMInTesting analog inputs and outputs to ensure accurate calibration.nConfiguration of equipment using PLC interfaces (GE Fanuc, Allan Bradley, Siemens)nCommissioning of special build equipment, electrically and mechanically.nMaintaining the quality of all the products, performing incoming and outgoing quality control tests, inspections, and repair of all plant and field equipment.

    nLive working at 400VnElectrical inspection and testing (EIC, EICR and PAT)

    What skills would we like to see on your CV?nCity And Guilds Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalentn18th Edition Wiring RegulationsnNVQ3 in electrical based unitsnCity and Guilds 2391 – Electrical testing and inspectionnPassport to safety or equivalentnExperience in industrial electrical works
