The post-holder will be responsible for the implementation of the Spine bifida and Anencephaly in Ethiopia, foLate for prevenTion (SALT) study and will supervise other research projects in HHR including a clinical surveillance to investigate child life-threatening illnesses and mortality.

The role involves collaboration with partners, generating new research, supervising students and contributing to the career development of Ethiopian scientists.
