The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is one of the world's leading public health universities. LSHTM is recruiting for a new Research Contracts Officer. This role provides vital support and expertise to our research teams with a range of legal agreements related to their projects in pursuit of LSHTM's mission to improve health worldwide.
Research Contracts Officers are responsible for ensuring that:
Applicants will ideally have experience of working in a legal and contracts role in a research-intensive higher education institution. A high degree of organisation and the ability to prioritise will be key to success in this busy role, along with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to use sound judgement and initiative to identify and resolve problems or escalate when appropriate. LSHTM operates a hybrid working model allowing a mix of on-site and at home working for this role.
The post is full time 35 hours per week, 1 FTE and permanent.
The salary will be on the Professional Services salary scale, Grade 5 in the range £38,282 - £43,947 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary "Wellbeing Days". Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London.
