About the role Balfour Beatty Highways** maintain, manage and operate major highway networks across the UK and support local authorities creating communities where people want to live work and play.
We provide high quality asset strategy, management and planning consultancy services to a wide range of public and private sector customers.
Balfour Beatty are currently looking for a
Logistics Co-ordinator to join our Highways team based at various locations
around the M25 for our NEAR (National Emergency Area Retrofit Programme) scheme.
What you'll be doing
As a
Logistics Co-ordinator - Balfour Beatty Highways - NEAR Scheme - Around M25, London/Home Counties, you will provide daily coordination of the
logistic resource streams on various projects related to the
NEAR scheme for our Balfour Beatty Highways business unit around the M25.
- All materials, plant, haulage, site vehicles, storage operations, delivery management and labour, facilities and security
- Supporting the implementation of a digital approach to logistics delivery
Who we're looking for
- Previous/current construction experience
- Valid CSCS card
- Supply chain management knowledge
- Analytical system experience e.g. PowerBI would be really useful
- A valid UK driving licence
- London/Home counties based/reasonable daily commutable distance of our projects around the M25
