    Job Description Supply Chain Planner

    The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our supply chain operations run smoothly, efficiently and cost-effectively. This role is for an industry leading pharmaceutical company based in London. They are market leaders within the Rare Disease therapeutic area with revolutionary pharmaceutical products a necessity to patients.


    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, finance and commercial, to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.

    Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels for both raw materials and finished goods.
    Identify and escalate potential supply chain issues to senior management.
    Conduct regular performance reviews of vendors and suppliers to ensure that service level agreements are being met.
    Develop and implement supply chain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

    Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field.
    Minimum of 1 year of experience in supply chain operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
    Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices.
    Experience working with ERP systems and other supply chain management software.
    Knowledge of regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical and biotech products is preferred.
