The Company

Able Bridge Recruitment are thrilled to be partnering with an industry leading event management business in the recruitment of an experienced accounts assistant.

The role will sit within a small finance team and will report to the finance director.

This newly created role has come about due to continued growth of the business which is forecast to continue for the foreseeable future.


The Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to support the finance team in the delivery of key financial tasks.

Due to the growth of the business more demands have been placed on the existing team which has resulted in this role being created to free up their time.


On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;
Processing of sales and purchase invoices
Posting journals
Daily banking, completing payment allocations and monthly reconciliations
Preparing and processing weekly and monthly BACs payment runs
Reconciliation of ledgers to external system reports
Credit control for client and events sales ledger
Working as part of the Finance Team to provide excellent finance support to our clients


The Requirements

Our client will be expecting the successful applicant to be based in the office on a blended working model, the model that we are working with is 40% in the office and 60% working at home, however this may change and you may be expected to work more often in the office.

If, however, applicants wish to work longer in the office the option is available to them.
