- Support the deployment of algorithms into the Embedded product stream, working closely with the application engineering team to resolve issues identified in the field.
- Develop battery performance algorithms and diagnostics for deployment on battery management systems.
- Evaluate and implement approaches that accelerate and lightweight our existing algorithms.
- Support Model-in-the-loop & cell-in-the-loop validation workflows for BMS algorithm testing & benchmarking.
- Use existing tools and/or develop tools to support algorithm release testing and benchmarking.
- Bachelor s or master s degree with a minimum 2:1 (or equivalent) in a relevant STEM subject. (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computing, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.), or equivalent experience.
- Deep understanding of linear and non-linear dynamic systems, stochastic differential equations, and probabilistic filtering.
- Willingness to proactively build new relationships & connections across the business in support of team & company goals.
- Ability to take on new ideas, concepts, and ways of working to meet strict project deadlines.
- Experience with cell modelling tools such as PyBaMM, COMSOL or similar.
