    Description

    Electrical Maintenance opportunity is available working with a manufacturing business in the south-Leeds area. The company have an opportunity available for a strong Electrical Engineer, ideally with a strong Controls & Automation background to join the business on a permanent basis.

    Comfortably commutable with your own means of transport from Wakefield, Leeds, Pontefract, Wetherby, Dewsbury, Batley, Braford & Huddersfield Working as part of a small shift maintenance team, you will be required to undertake all elements of Electrical site & machinery maintenance, on a rotating shift basis. Duties include;
    • Working across the factory attending machinery breakdowns and diagnosing faults/route cause analysis,
    • Working with the operators, to ensure machinery breakdowns are resolved and production downtime is kept to a minimum.
    • You will be responsible for working through the planned maintenance schedule and carrying out any machinery upgrades.
    • You will also be responsible for machinery installations/ moves and modifications of new and older machinery.
    • Thinking outside of the box and being a really strong team player who can use own initiative and demonstrating good ethics and integrity.
    The business are offering a package up to £40k/year, working on a Monday to Friday 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm rotating shift basis.
