We are currently seeking a Personal Achievement Tutor in Computing to join The Bedford College Group at our Bedford Campus.
- To provide pastoral support to students in allocated caseload to ensure attendance and punctuality, retention, attainment, achievement and progression, identifying 'at risk' students and provide appropriate intervention/support to raise standards and maintain high expectations
- To support students through delivering tutorial support and professional skills development to help them stay onprogramme and to achieve their potential moving on to positive destinations such as higher education, apprenticeships or employment
- To support students within allocated caseload in specific vocational/academic areas by providing group and onetoone support as well as delivering weekly group tutorial sessions in areas such as safeguarding, resilience, health and wellbeing, life skills, British Values, eSafety, careers and employability, as well as preparation for further study including higher education
- Good allround education to include qualifications at Level
- Maths and English to GCSE (Grade A
- C) or equivalent
- PTLLS or willingness to gain within a specified period
- Willingness to work towards Level 2 Safeguarding and Youth Mental Health First Aid qualification

About The Bedford College Group
The Bedford College Group was formed in 2017 following the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College and is now the largest provider of education in the South East Midlands, with over 15,000 students passing through our doors each year.
