Description
AWAL Recordings is seeking a conscientious and motivated individual to be the label lead on stock control processes.


You will join a friendly release management team based in London and New York which works hard to deliver high quality releases to market for our clients.

As part of that team you will also deliver release projects; organizing, storing and delivering label copy, audio assets and artwork.

The release management team also manages stock across the business and this position would run that process and deliver on the objectives set by the Director and Senior Director within the team.


What you will do as a Stock Control and Release Management Coordinator

  • You will handle digital release projects, delivering products through our supply chains to streaming and online services
  • You will learn to manage physical projects for clients, scheduling for manufacture, proofing artwork, storing and delivering audio and video assets
  • You will lead the new stock control processes, monitoring stock levels across the business and tracking demand across markets globally
  • You will engage internally with marketing and A&R teams to understand and remedy stock needs
  • Liaise with clients on repress decisions and arrange represses with manufacturing brokers, ensuring they are delivered to the appropriate warehouses
  • You will be responsible for invoicing for catalogue title purchases
  • Take charge of internal queries on promo and bought stock deliveries, plus managing delivery related issues such as EORI numbers, customs and VAT charges. You will also manage the office stock cupboard, logging any inventory brought in or taken out.

  • You will need to be detailorientated and willing to tackle complex challenges.
  • You will need patience and focus to learn how the organization works.
  • Experience within the music industry desired. Knowledge of music business terminology is a must.
