CNC Setter/Operator/Programmer, Redditch, up to £16 per hourMy client is a precision engineering specialist supplying products to a wide range of customers.
They are looking to recruit proven experienced CNC Setter / Operators to join their team, operating Doosan, Haas, Brother and Harrison machines.
They would be willing to train someone with CNC turning / milling experience. Operating and setting of 4 axis milling CNC Machines.You will be working with aluminium castings and extrusions, Bronze and cast-iron castings plus stainless steel and brass stampings.
Strong knowledge of machinery within a machine shop, experience of manufacturing precision parts to tight tolerances on CNC machines, lathes and millers.
A good knowledge of cutting data to machine aluminium, stainless steel, cast iron, brass.CNC setting experience is essential (Fanuc and/or Siemens controls)
Understanding of lean manufacturing (TPM, 5S, ETC)
General computer skills
Fast moving Manufacturing business with high focus on its machining capabilities
Tight deadlines on first offs and manufacturing
Expanding Machine shop with new machines planned going forward
