    Job Title CNC Turner / Production Engineer Location Coventry Salary £40,000 - £42,000 Hours Days based; Monday – Thursday 7.30 – 4.30pm Friday – 7.30 – 12.30pm Overtime x1.5 in week and Saturdays x2 Sunday The Client Tier 1 component supplier, specialising in the machining and assembly of products for the power generation and off-highway industries.

    Housed in a new facility that offers state-of-the-art technology you will be joining a highly competent engineering team, producing small to large components to a high level of complexity and variety.

    Who can do it? This role could suit someone who is a fully skilled CNC Turner Machinist who is looking to progress into an off-tool's role, or someone already working in a support capacity Apprentice trained time served CNC Machinist
    Fully able to read drawings and customer standards.
    Able to programme and set CNC Lathes with live tooling at the machine.
    Knowledge of Mazak/Mazatrol essential
    Involvement with shopfloor process issues and process improvement
    Ordering of new tools for NPI projects.

    Overtime is available for those who want it paid at X1.5 typically. Key Accountabilities Taking new projects through to first off and proving machining process. Duties Generating programs and proving them
    Manufacturing parts to customer instruction
    Giving guidance on best method of manufacture
