    Description

    Do you have experience working in the manufacturing industry? This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing business at our state-of-the-art chilled fresh produce facility in Peterborough.

    We have a vacancy for a Multi Skilled – Engineer to join the AMK Fresh engineering team, working a 4 on 4 off 12 hour shift pattern.

    Your role as an experienced multi-skilled engineer is to provide support for our 30+ production lines in the factory, working on various equipment including tray sealers, checkweighers, conveyors, dynamic citrus weighers, netting & flow wrap machines, coding & labelling equipment.

    Undertake a programme of Planned Preventative Maintenance and condition monitoring for key equipment & machinery across the manufacturing areas, to ensure that machinery & equipment is maintained correctly and operates safely and as efficiently as possible
    in order to provide a fast response to breakdowns within the manufacturing areas to ensure that equipment "up time" is kept to a maximum
    Actively support and encourage a programme of TPM and assist with the training of colleagues in the relevant activities, in accordance with H&S and engineering legislative codes of practice policies and procedures
    Ensure Data quantity and quality via the use of the engineering CMMS system
    Analyse system, lines, and product performance
    Applicants should have a recognised electrical, mechanical & electronics qualifications to at least BTEC Level 3 / HNC plus some knowledge of automation, control systems & PLC's
    Microsoft office experience - word, excel, outlook
