    Virtual Build Geometric Cad Engineer

    Virtual Build Geometric CAD Engineer £32.68/hr umbrella rateDo you have CAD experience, and are you seeking a new contract job in Gaydon? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Virtual Build Geometric CAD Engineer, and the role comes with a umbrella contract rate of £32.68 per hour (inside IR35).As a Geometric CAD Engineer, you will support the delivery of geometric data (CAD) that enables virtual build and testing activities (full product CAE).

    You'll also produce and manage a delivery plan for CAD through engagement with component owners that enables a continuum of virtual build & test operations.

    During your first few weeks in this Geometric CAD Engineer role, you can expect to begin work on some of the following:

    Highlight any issues and risks in the plan to virtual assessments utilising the appropriate escalation processEnsure these issues are adequately raised to the correct groups and tracking them into resolutionUnderstand CAD quality issues & align on a plan to resolve them that supports the overall virtual build and test plan with component ownersTrack open test failures against components & align with component owners on resolution before re-assessing virtuallyReport on status at appropriate events, highlighting the key activities required to support Virtual test plans & highlighting open issues and their age to communicate risks and issues within a programTo apply for this Virtual Build Geometric CAD Engineer position, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confidence to communicate across all levelsAbility to create and manage complex project plansBasic knowledge of automotive engineering contentProficient in the use and application of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointKnowledge of whole vehicle automotive product design, systems, or requirementsKnowledge of CAD and Bill of MaterialsIn return for your dedication, collaboration, and commitment, you'll receive a generous contract per hour rate of £32.We'd love for you to apply for this contract Virtual Build Geometric CAD Engineer job in Gaydon, and we're waiting to hear from you.
