We are seeking an ambitious Technical Product Analyst to work on the development of our client's innovative software products to support clinical research in the pharmaceutical sector, and to improve the management and treatment of mental health conditionsin the healthcare sector.


This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate with 1-2 years industry experience to be part of a growing multi-functional Products team managing the ongoing development, deployment, maintenance and support of this and other software products in their pipeline.


As a Technical Product Analyst, you will be involved in the investigation, software analysis, design, and implementation stages of the product development life cycle.

Once the necessary approvals have been sought, you will examine the business problem(s)that need to be resolved, gather information, design, maintain and deliver user requirements.

You will work closely with and report to the Product Manager.

The primary responsibilities of the Technical Product Analyst include:

  • Meet and coordinate with internal stakeholders to establish project scope and requirements
  • Design and implement product improvements to meet the business and user needs
  • Translate business and client requirements into technical specifications
  • Develop, analyse, prioritise, and organise requirement specifications for developers and testers to follow
  • Work closely with the internal Product Manager, IT Project Manager, IT Test Manager and Computer Systems Validation Manager to ensure the successful delivery of product improvements and client projects of high quality, on time and within budget
  • Work effectively with third party software suppliers
  • Provide product user documentation, demonstrations and training
  • Liaise with IT Testing regarding the testing of the requirements
  • Liaise with IT Project Management regarding releases and delivery

Skills and expertise:


  • Bachelor's degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent degree and/or a higher degree
  • At least one year's industry experience working in a similar role or related field
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
  • A logical thinker with creative problemsolving abilities
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Good at multitasking, able to prioritise workloads and context switch as necessary
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work effectively with others
  • Advanced IT skills with MS office suite
  • Has written detailed user requirement documents (desirable)


The role is mainly remote working with a requirement to visit the office once every 2-3 months for key meetings.


This is NOT a software developer position, but will work closely with the development team, so may also suit a graduate who wants to move away from development and be more client focused.
