Role Summary:


Responsible for delivering our customer requirements in line with value streams expectation for the MRO, Spares (bought-out and internal make) areas of Commercial Aftermarket.

This includes day-to-day planning and delivery for specific programme, short-term supply management, escalation, and monitoring of execution


Key Responsibilities

  • In this role you will:
  • manage materials-linked project activity : First article inspection, aftermarket production for products that are no longer produced as OEM
  • Help the aftermarket department get back to 95% On Time delivery in MRO and spares
  • Work with logistics departments (Shipping, packaging, stores,) to ensure timely deliveries to production lines and customers
  • Work with supply chain team to ensure material availability: effective management of the escalation process for both internal and external supply.
  • Work with operators, product support, quality to ensure quick problem resolution, on time delivery to all Customers, answers to customer queries.
  • Develop production and kitting plans.
  • Manage escalation process when a sustained deviation from plan occurs.
  • Internal Customer order book management / point of contact for spares desk queries
  • Resolve issues identified by internal & external customers through problems solving skills

Skills & Experience:


  • Good influencing skills and ability to cope under pressure.
  • Responsive to change working in an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrable use of SAP and Excel and the ability to share this knowledge with team members.
  • Highly motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of core processes in demand management, production planning & materials management.
  • Working knowledge of Commercial Aerospace Aftermarket
  • Ability to work well both in a team and own initiative.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions
