The starting salary for this role is £62,363 for working 36 hours per week based.

This role is for a full time position; however we welcome part time applicants, the salary will be pro-rata for part-time staff._


This is an exciting opportunity for someone to work as a
Senior Manager working as part of a leadership team working closely with health and borough colleagues to improve the outcomes for our residents across Elmbridge.

The provision of local personalised support is at the heart of our service.

As a
Senior Manager you will be responsible and accountable for the day-to-day delivery of high-quality Adult Social Care support for your specific district or borough, managing the locality social care team.

You will have responsibility for a delegatedbudget and for improving and maintaining high performance standards of the teams you are responsible for.

You will also have opportunities resulting from being part of the countywide management team to promote consistent and innovative best practice acrossthe whole county.


A focus of your work will be to work strategically with district and borough council partners, health providers, care providers and the independent and voluntary sector.

You will develop effective relationships that are focussed on improving the lives ofthe local population in general and in particular those people that we provide support to.


In order to be considered for shortlisting, we would love you to demonstrate your;

  • Professional qualification in health or social care and a proven track record of successfully managing teams within a health or social care setting.
  • Highlevel understanding and commitment to the personalisation agenda
  • Direct experience of delivering adult social care services and a comprehensive and applied knowledge of adult social care legislation.
  • Understanding of, and commitment to, supporting carers and demonstrable commitment to delivering support and managing staff in accordance with the Councils Equality and Diversity policy.

Applicants must hold a valid Driving Licence to drive in the UK and have access to a car.
