- Carrying out risk assessments including DASH and co-producing safety plans with the service user regularly.
- Conducting needs assessments quickly to establish support needs and responding flexibly as needs and risks change.
- Promoting the service through positive relationships with relevant organizations.
- Making referrals to support services for substance misuse and mental health, when necessary.
- Keeping applicant and referral agencies informed of progress and outcomes.
- Hold an IDVA qualification.
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals who have survived domestic abuse.
- Extensive experience supporting high-risk victims.
- Previous work with the police, Lighthouse, and MARAC.

- Must possess a full driving license and access to transport.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Female IDVA to join our team based in North Somerset. You will be working full time, 37.5 hours per week, including participation in out-of-hours telephone on-call rota as well as some evenings and Saturdays. The salary offered is Point 12 (unqualified) £26,421 or Point 15 (qualified) £27,803 annually along with additional benefits.
About the Female IDVA role:
The Female IDVA role at Next Link involves providing outreach and community-based support to high-risk victims of domestic abuse in North Somerset. Collaborating with the Lighthouse, One Front Door, and MARAC, the position requires offering a coordinated package of emotional and practical support, advice, and advocacy to high-risk survivors and their children.
