Risk & Controls Manager, West London (Hybrid working 1-2 days a week in the office). £65,000-75,000 + Bonus & Bens.


We are working with an International Insurance business who are looking for a Risk & Controls specialist to join their Risk & Compliance Team.

This is a newly created role due to expansion and you'll be part of a team of 6 within Risk & Compliance.


The role:


  • Working closely with European Risk & Compliance Managers to support the business in performing various risk assessments.
  • Advising the business on risk matters related to third party management, fraud, and other operational risks.
  • Implementing the requirements of various Group risk management policies.
  • Work with Operations to continuously improve the internal control environment and advise on control design and implementation.
  • Support the business in remediating operational events.
  • Carry out effective risk governance by monitoring all agreed riskmitigating action plans.
  • Contribute the risk perspective to regional Risk & Compliance reporting.

To apply:


  • We are looking for previous experience gained in a risk management or internal controls role within the Insurance Market.
  • Familiar with compliance risks and key regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of working on own initiative and delivering practical outcomes to a professional standard with a strong emphasis on delivery and execution.
