Research Recruitment Manager
In this new role, you will work as an in-house recruiter of participants for Crux's Human Factors and Usability studies.
You will be proactive in sourcing participants for human factors studies, have independence in developing a recruitment approach, and take the lead in sourcing hard-to-reach and large volume participant recruitment.nAt Crux, we're looking to build a best-in-class participant database which will be truly representative of the end users for the products we develop.
We want to make sure that the products we develop work for as many people as possible, and place value on participant diversity to support this – including across gender, education, age, ethnicity, and disability.
Typical participants recruited for our studies include patients with diagnosed illnesses, and Healthcare Professionals. It is key that participants have an outstanding recruitment experience.

There will be opportunities for training and development to gain knowledge of Human Factors to support effective recruitment of participants, as well as skill sharing across different functions at Crux.
Principal Responsibilities
Provide an outstanding recruitment experience for participantsnDeveloping recruitment strategies for hard-to-reach and large volume participant studiesnProactively initiating and co-ordinating recruitment of participantsnBuilding and managing a database of participantsnManaging timelines and internal requestsnWorking independently to achieve recruitment goalsnWith support of the team, growing your knowledge of human factors study requirements to help recruitment efforts and discussionsnSupport Crux's continual development by raising any suggestions or ideas you might have for improvement.nComply with all company Health and Safety and Quality Management policies and procedures in order to ensure that the performance of daily duties does not endanger fellow employees, visitors, contractors or any member of the general public.nCarry out any reasonable task requested by the company in the course of performing your daily duties and within contracted working hours.
We will be looking for you to take the lead in developing an approach to source participants and build a database of future human factors participants.
You will be skilled at building relationships and networking with relevant institutions and finding innovative ways to identify (and market to) potential participants.
You will work well against deadlines, taking responsibility for sourcing the required participants to agreed timelines.Essential:
Experience in participant recruitment (both recruiting and co-ordinating sessions)nExperience building a recruitment databasenExperience proactively developing conversations with leads using innovative methodsnAbility to work independently to achieve goalsnAdaptable problem solver with a "can do" attitudenExcellent communication skills
