    The School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics (HAPP) at Queen's University Belfast, is currently seeking to recruit a talented Lecturer in Comparative Politics, particularly those with a research focus on devolution, territorial politics and multi-level governance. The person appointed will be expected to play an active role in the School's research and teaching activities, and to work closely with colleagues from across the School. Applicants must have a PhD in politics, or equivalent, and have demonstrated the ability to produce high-quality publications commensurate with their career stage and to provide excellent teaching.

    The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:

    • A Ph.D. in Political Science or equivalent.
    • Record of publication of research outputs appropriate to stage of career.
    • A research focus in comparative politics, particularly devolution, territorial politics and multi-level governance
    • Evidence of independent contribution in research projects and outputs.
    • Evidence of effective and innovative teaching at University level appropriate to stage of career, including successful design and delivery of modules.
    • Evidence of ability to contribute to the teaching of modules in comparative politics and research methods.
