Exciting Opportunity for English Teachers in Harlow Secondary Schools

Location: Harlow
Salary: £150 - £260 per day
Start Date: September 2024
Contract Type: Full-time (permanent)

As an English Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to inspire a love for literature, language, and communication in our students. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that stimulate critical thinking, creativity, and literary analysis.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered to express themselves confidently.
Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities, ensuring every student can reach their full potential.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development in reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that enhance the overall learning experience.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization in English.
Experience teaching English at Key Stages 3, 4, and ideally 5, with a proven track record of student progress and attainment.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature, language, and literacy development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
