Lead Developer - 2 days a month in Manchester - £60k-£70k

This is an excellent opportunity for a
Senior Developer to move up into a Lead role and oversee three development squads.

Based in Manchester with
_2 days a month _in office, this role is
paying £60k - £70k.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for all aspects of the development lifecycle and lead three small squads of developers in extending both online health and safety systems, as well as new bespoke projects.

Massive investment is being put into their flagship product and you will also be heavily involved its overall evolution - a responsive Single Page Application using cutting edge front-end web development technologies, such as Angular, HTML5, NativeScript andTypeScript, supported by C#.Net APIs and hosted on Azure.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and be accountable for the output of multiple delivery squads, following Agile.
Implement best practice methods e.g., TDD and SOLID principles.
Mentor developers and conduct regular 121s.
Contribute to code reviews.
Review and enhance current development practices, investigate new approaches.
Schedule and manage workload effectively and flagging risks and issues to the Dev Manager
Release management, working with the Test Team and Project Managers to conduct software releases.
